Vote Against Never-Trump “Ike”

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)
Never-Trump Todd “Ike” Skelton said “there is no real difference” between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and attacked a MAGA supporter, saying “I honestly have no idea if/why you would support him.”1 TDS Skelton even campaigned against Trump and donated $608 to defeat him.2
Anti-Cop. Pro-Criminal.
As Camden County Commissioner, Skelton actively opposed law enforcement agencies trying to crack down on drug and gun crime—all while his brother was caught selling illegal guns. Skelton even called for defunding and abolishing a law enforcement agency. Sheriff Tony Helms later said Skelton created a serious “roadblock” to catching more criminals.3
Defund the Police
Anti-Cop Ike Skelton repeatedly fought against funding for our local law enforcement agencies. During the pandemic, he even opposed an effort to raise Camden County’s Sheriff Deputies’ salaries above $31,000. To make things worse, he later blocked efforts as commissioner to secure state funding for the Camden County Sheriff’s Department.4
Tax Hypocrisy & Money Troubles
While Skelton fought against tax relief for average people, he did not pay his own taxes. Skelton has had three judgments placed against him for back taxes and even had his county commissioner wages garnished.5 This is only the beginning of Skelton’s money troubles. Skelton has been sued 9 times and had 12 judgments against him for unpaid obligations—including 8 involving one of his three ex-wives.6
